NMA UPDATES RESOURCES

OAKLAND, CA – The National Meat Association has updated its entire library of member resources. Helping members understand the relationship between agency and industry is a primary goal of the NMA, and our resource library serves as a vital information piece. Step-by-step instructions help businesses comply with federal regulations, and clear details explain important issues affecting the meat industry.

The resource library supports NMA’s other services, including a staff of regulatory advisors to provide hands-on help for members. NMA works with members to initiate the process that resolves appeals of government disputes and directs members to the right sources for a solution.

Other membership benefits include our weekly industry newsletter, Lean Trimmings, and targeted workshops and teleconferences. For a copy of any resources in the library, or if you’re interested in joining the NMA, please send an email to [email protected] or call (510) 763-1533.

The following resources have been updated and are available:

Anti-Harassment Program

Bloodborne Pathogens & First-Aid Response

Checklist for Assessing Pest Control Program
