NMA LAUNCHES ONLINE TRADE SHOW WEBSITE

OAKLAND, CA – National Meat Association today announced the launch of its MEATXPO website, (www.meatxpo.org). NMA developed this website to offer prospective attendees and exhibitors a virtual tour of NMA’s popular biennial trade show.

“The new website, featuring NMA’s highly regarded MEATXPO trade show, reflects the personal responsiveness and commitment we at NMA uphold in serving the needs of our membership and stakeholders,” NMA Communications Manager Kiran Kernellu says. “MEATXPO is one of our most well-attended and well-regarded events. Because it’s the subject of countless inquiries, we’ve launched this website to have information on MEATXPO readily available for all interested parties.”

The MEATXPO site offers several unique and convenient features (accessible with links from the homepage):
 
 Walk the 2003 show floor – A virtual map allows you to view the 2003 trade show floor and click on any area to get a more detailed view;
 2003 Attendees – Lists 2003 attendees by company name
 A 2005 preview - Offers online registration to receive an exhibitor prospectus and a link to the preliminary 2005 floor plan
 Search companies - Offers a list of exhibitor business categories and links to the companies doing business in each, as well as contact information for each company.
 Exhibitor Benefits - Lists the myriad of benefits to exhibitors in MEATXPO!

The Association plans to add specialty education topics and briefings to the site, as well, on such topics as Slaughter Best Practices, Beef Grinders, ABC’s of Plant Design, and Irradiation Update. NMA Associate Director, Administration, Etta Reyes encourages suppliers to sign up early for the best selection of booth space.

National Meat Association is a non-profit industry association. Since 1946, NMA has represented meat packers and processors, equipment manufacturers and food suppliers who provide services to the meat industry. The association has members throughout the United States, as well as in Canada, Australia and Mexico.
