MIKE JOHANNS TO SPEAK AT NMA'S 60th ANNUAL CONVENTION

OAKLAND, CA - Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns will speak during the opening general session at National Meat Association Annual Convention on Thursday, March 2. His tireless efforts have helped immeasurably to reopen critical markets for U.S. beef. Don't miss his update on ag affairs.

With a top-notch lineup of speakers on a series of relevant issues, this year's NMA Convention - March 1-4 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, CA - is going to provide plenty of information and be a lot of fun.

Saturday keynote speaker for the convention will be Joseph W. Luter, III, chairman and CEO of Smithfield Foods - the largest hog producer and pork processor in the world.

Roundtable seminar topics led by high-profile industry speakers include: Surviving an EIAO Visit, Changing Export Dynamics, Science Breakthroughs, The Changing Workplace, Selling More Meat, Applying Meat Technology and Risk Based Inspection.
