NMA STREAMLINES WEBSITE
OAKLAND, CA – National Meat Association launches a bold new design of its award-winning website, NMAonline.org (www.nmaonline.org) today.
As part of its mission statement – to be the most effective meat association in serving its members – NMA developed a website which reflects the attributes of the NMA Community: Responsive, Resourceful, Reliable, and Fun.
“The new website design, featuring the NMA Community theme, reflects the personal responsiveness and commitment to service of NMA and its staff,” NMA Communications Manager Kiran Kernellu says.
The NMA Community theme is prevalent in the design of the new site, which has all of the features of the previous site – news, publications, links, general information, and events. Among the site’s newest features are the search function powered by Google, a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page, a Working Together page outlining NMA’s collaborative efforts and grassroots organizing, and an NMA in Washington page that highlights NMA’s legislative activities and the functions of its Government Relations Liaison. Above all, the new site emphasizes the qualities the association is best known for – responsiveness, resourcefulness, reliability and fun.
The streamlined site is divided into four neighborhoods:
- “Responsive” details the commitment of NMA and its members in providing high-quality products and services.
- “Resourceful” features the wealth of information NMA provides.
- “Reliable” chronicles NMA’s personal pledge to provide its members with around-the-clock assistance.
- “Fun” describes the familial and congenial atmosphere typical of NMA and its events.
The newly designed site also adds new information in a comprehensible format. Now you can also access current fax alerts, called NMA Extra Trimmings, and stay abreast of pressing issues in the industry. Encompassing information on meat issues from farm to fork, NMAonline.org is your one-stop information source for the meat industry.
National Meat Association is a non-profit industry association. Since 1946, NMA has represented meat packers and processors, equipment manufacturers and food suppliers who provide services to the meat industry.
