The NMA Community

OAKLAND, CA – In working to be the most effective association in serving its members’ needs, National Meat Association takes a bold new step towards consistency, clarity and integrity.

The association is galvanizing its already devoted community to assist the entire industry. The first step was announced earlier this month, when the association unveiled its new website. Already an invaluable resource, the site now incorporates NMA’s new community identifiers:

Responsive Resourceful Reliable

“National Meat Association has an unparalleled level of one-on-one assistance, and we’re trying to tell people about that,” says NMA Executive Director Rosemary Mucklow. “The service we provide is unique.”

NMA’s members know what they’ve got and aren’t shy about bragging either. The new website now includes glowing, personal testimonials by members, large and small, from across the United States, who have benefited from NMA’s invaluable help.

“This year alone, NMA has helped more than a dozen of its members avoid costly regulatory delays,” says NMA Associate Director, Regulatory, Ken Mastracchio. “People see us as a troubleshooter, and we are. However, we’re really encouraging people to use our preventive services and avoid the stress altogether.”

NMA is committed to keeping members informed and keeping their operations efficient, consistent and clean. NMA members are likewise committed to safe, quality meat products.

The association’s spirit of resolve has never been more manifest than now, when the industry faces more challenges than ever before.

National Meat Association is a non-profit industry association. Since 1946, NMA has represented meat packers and processors, equipment manufacturers and food suppliers who provide services to the meat industry. The association has members throughout the United States, as well as in Canada, Australia and Mexico.
