FREY PROMOTED TO NMA DIRECTOR OF TECHNICAL SERVICES

OAKLAND, CA – National Meat Association has promoted Teresa Frey to the position of Director of Technical Services. Previously Frey was Manager of Technical and Educational Services. She joined the association staff in 1996 as a Regulatory Assistant.

 

“Frey has proven her abilities again and again,” said NMA Executive Director Rosemary Mucklow. “This is clearly a position for which she has aptitude and a promotion that she has earned.”

 

During her time with NMA, Frey has spearheaded the HACCP training courses and other educational scheduling activities, as well as promoting HACCP for Kids and assisting in general membership activities, newsletter updates and convention planning. Frey holds an avian science undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis.

 

National Meat Association is a non-profit trade association representing meat packers and processors, as well as equipment  manufacturers and suppliers who provide services to the meat industry. The association, with over 600 members throughout the United States, includes membership in Canada, Australia and Mexico.
